About Us
The Trinbago Progressive Association (TPA) was founded in 1989 as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, incorporated in New York City. TPA has been dedicated to enhancing the quality of life through health, education, and social development. Our mission is to advance collaborative efforts and improve access to and sharing of resources. We are committed to providing our community with the best care and service and creating a more just and equitable society.
Mission
-To establish, identify, and provide services needed to enhance the quality of life of the Caribbean diaspora living in the New York area and, by extension, Trinidad and Tobago, the Caribbean, and the world.
-To institute and organize cultural and social programs for the advancement of the people of Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean.
-To recognize and initiate projects to aid the islands of Trinidad and Tobago in the areas of Health, Education, and Social Services.
Vision
Our vision is firmly aligned with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals and the World Health Organization's objectives, and we are committed to eradicating suffering.
